The Digital Government Research Consortium at SCDI has created a sandbox where digital innovations for public sector digital transformation will be made available to the general public. The idea is to utilize the (often population-based) research to create solutions that may support decision-making in the public sector.
First out are two digital innovations: First a service where municipalities can see what their current digital transformation strategy is (based on content analysis of their most important steering documents). Second, a service where all public sector organizations can see how they have recruited digital competence compared to sectoral averages (based on an NLP analysis of all 6M+ job postings in Sweden 2006-2020).
We will continue to push for this type of utilization of research findings, enhancing the digital capabilities of the public sector. For additional information and access to the innovations, see here.
